Brandon DeMaris
Owner, DeMaris Entertainment

Brandon moved to Austin fresh out of college in 2004, not long after the near-collapse of the recording industry. The “Live Music Capital of the World” served as fertile ground to plant and grow DeMaris Entertainment, an events company specializing in talent buying and concert production.  To date, DeMaris Entertainment has provided Austin talent for over 1,000 events, with a client roster including global brands Dell, Deloitte Consulting, and Gibson Guitar.

Over the past decade, Brandon founded and continues to produce the MusiCares® Sober Jam, a monthly event offering musicians an opportunity to perform in a safe and sober environment. DeMaris Entertainment is also the exclusive event producer and talent buyer for Black Fret, a member-based charity that has awarded over $1,000,000 to local artists including performance fees in its first four years of existence. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music with a dual focus in Music Business/Management and Performance.

As a musician himself, Brandon is wholly invested in improving the state of the music industry for musicians. When not in business mode, Brandon enjoys life in Austin with his family and continues to write, record and perform his own music.

Debbie Stanley
Owner, Thoughts In Order

Debbie has been a professional organizer since 1997 and evolved into focusing on the music industry after moving to Austin with her husband and son in 2012. She works with musicians, bands, and music-industry organizations, and added DeMaris Entertainment to her client roster in 2017 to supercharge its behind-the-scenes operations and build in the exquisite attention to detail needed to produce 100+ events per year and growing.

Deb has a BA in Journalism with a minor in photography, an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and an MS in Mental Health Counseling. She’s the author of over a dozen books, most recently The Organized Musician, and has presented at conferences including South By Southwest.

Music has always been a source of profound joy and fascination for Deb. That appreciation combined with her unique way of understanding artists’ minds and hearts has earned her a reputation as a trusted coach, ally, and ambassador on artists’ behalf. It appears she’s always working, but, like musicians, Deb’s “work” is also her creativity.
